Storm Sandy

Storm Sandy really made an impact at the NJ shore. We are so grateful that the only thing that happened to us is that trees are down and we have no telephone or internet connections. Our hearts go out to all of those people that lost their homes at the shore.

Crazy, Stormy Monday

The storm is about 8 hours out and the winds are already picking up here...we are supposed to get the eye of the storm here so we are bracing for Sandy's approach. 

Storm on it's Way

The Storm is going to hit NJ head on and we are underway in making preps. Keeping fingers crossed!

Storm Coming

It's a good thing that everyone has indoors shows this weekend as the storm is heading up the coastline. Hopefully it won't be so bad and goes out to sea before it reaches us.

Approaching End of Otober

The trees are gorgeous outside here in the Northeast and they are starting to fall to the ground. Fall is in full swing and it's important to take 5 minutes our of our hectic schedules to go outside, breathe in the air and take in the beauty. It does more for you than you know.

The weekend has finally arrived. Didn't this seem like a really long week? The weather has cleared up and everyone will be out at their local art/craft show today.

Another beautiful day here in NJ. The leaves are starting to turn color and people are making samples today for this weekend's shows.

One of my favorite things to do is to create new and exciting flavors and every year as we get into the Fall season, no matter how buy we get, I like to keep the ideas flowing and trying new things.

This weekend rocked at the shows. People were out in droves and shopping for the Fall season.

Weather

Well the cold is setting in here in NJ and the weather for our last outdoor show of the year has been brisk and cold for yesterday's show. Hopefully today and tomorrow warms up a bit. It's a good morning to stop into Starbucks on the way!

Friday Set Up

Today we are setting up 2 shows. Fall shows are the best! Great food, great crafts and something fun to do. 

Making Dip Mix Samples Today

Today is a "making samples" day as we have a bunch of shows going on this weekend. It's a great time to go to art/craft shows and see what the artists/crafters have to sell. Trying dip mixes in the Fall is fun!

Tuesday Morning in October

Can anyone else believe that it is already October? Things are moving very quickly now as it always does this time of year. For me personally it is when the creative juices start flowing and I like to experiment in the kitchen on new flavors and combinations.

Well finally the end to a loooong week here at Gourmet Creations. Fall is now in full swing at shows and people are doing very well. (knock on wood)

First Week of October

So we are starting to get into the Fall season, and in addition to my daily Starbucks visits (which I have to cut back on...eventually) people are stocking up for their upcoming art/craft shows. Farmers markets are started to get busy as people are going for their apples and pumpkins.
